Salon Coordinator
Primary role is to receive customers into the salon, and schedule appointments for the stylists and technicians. Knowledge of salon operations, ability to plan, organize, and follow through on work. Sales and customer service ability; above average interpersonal skills. Basic business skills and ability to communicate well, both in writing and verbally. Ability to organize, plan, and direct staff and workload to successful completion. Technical expertise in the salon front desk area. Computer literate - familiar with salon software, MS Excel, MS Word, and e-mail a plus. Basic math skills; ability to work in busy, often stressful conditions; ability to prioritize tasks and maintain positive work environment and conditions.

Full-time, must be willing to work Saturdays and some evenings.

Salon Assistant
The Salon Assistant is a support position to the hairstylists. Responsibilities include keeping the stylists on schedule, assisting stylists with services, shampooing and clean-up.

Education: We are looking for current cosmetology school students to enter our assistant training program and work their way up to stylist. We offer many levels of advancement.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be mentored by a staff of very busy and talented stylists who are eager to teach you what they know and work as a team.

Desired Skills: A friendly, positive attitude and the ability to work well with others as part of a team is required. You must have demonstrated talent in the art of haircutting and other salon services, particularly shampooing and scalp massage.

Type of Position: Part-time, hours 11:00 am to 5:00 pm
