Foils Salon & Spa Decorates Tree for Annual Festival of Trees Charity Event

Festival of Trees LogoMELBOURNE, FL, November 14, 2004 --Foils Salon & Spa Owner Sandie Phelps DeConda and her staff decorated a holiday tree for the 20th annual Festival of Trees charity event sponsored by the Junior League of South Brevard. The JLSB positively impacts the quality of life in the community with a focus on children at risk through trained volunteers, financial support, and community awareness and partnerships.

The event took place November 12-14 at Florida Marketplace on South Babcock Street in Melbourne. Since 1985, JLSB has featured the two-day extravaganza that attracts more than 5,000 visitors. It features elaborate holiday scenes, exclusive designer trees, traditional decorated holiday trees, holiday wreaths, gingerbread houses, children's activities, craft vendors, food vendors and, of course, Santa.

The tree, along with a Foils Salon & Spa gift certificate, was auctioned off to benefit JLSB community projects such as Habitat for Humanity, Operation Hope and restoration of The Green Gables. These three signature projects constitute a finacial pledge of $145,000 to the community.

For more information, please visit the JLSB web site at www.jlsb.net.
