Sandie climbed on a stepstool and started shampooing hair in her mother's salon in Columbus, Georgia when she was just eight years old. At 15 years of age, she got a job shampooing hair at a mall salon. When the owner saw her giving a friend a haircut after hours, he made Sandie an apprentice and put her on the floor cutting and styling hair at age 16. After three years, she moved to an exclusive, upscale salon in Columbus named Styles by Cooper (on TIGI's list of hot salons, January 2000) where she worked for Robert Jenkins for seven years. From there, Sandie moved to Melbourne, Florida in 1991, and has been working there ever since. Sandie decided to open her own salon because she enjoys providing quality hair care for her established clients. Foils is staffed to offer different services for a variety of clients. Sandie strives to match clients and stylists based on personality as well as haircare needs.

Sandie prides herself on keeping in tune with the latest trends in the beauty industry. Just ask any of her clients - they keep coming back year after year, referring all of their friends. As a matter of fact, close to 90% of Foils' business is based upon referrals by existing clients. We are very proud of our client testimonials. "Hairstyling gives me instant gratification," says Sandie. "I love creating a special look for a client and watching the transformation, not only in the way they look, but in their attitude." Sandie's philosophy is to provide her staff with continuing education so that clients can benefit from the latest, most progressive, cutting edge styles and services. |
