Shirley Peters has been in the business since 1970. She holds a cosmetology license in the state of Florida. She joined the Foils staff in 1998.

Shirley's specialties are Vidal Sassoon and Framesi Italian haircutting, creative colour foils and colour mapping, and bridal and formal styles.

Shirley's background in the industry includes extensive experience and travel performing makeovers - transforming ordinary women into covergirl beauties on camera. She attended the University of Georgia and Auburn University for advanced training in cosmetology. She has also taken short courses in makeup and hairstyling with leading artists in the industry.

"I am confident I can provide personalized attention and give my clients hairstyles to compliment their lifestyles. I believe hair needs to be kept up-to-date and represent the time we live in now."

Shirley's hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Susanne Rue has been in the beauty business since 1989. She started as an assistant/shampoo girl at a salon in high school. After finishing cosmetology school in Fairfax, Virginia, she eventually became the manager of that salon. She moved to Florida in April of 1999 to join the staff at Foils.

Susanne attended Graham Webb International Cosmetology School and completed the Brocato International Design Course. She has taken advanced courses in hair coloring from Framesi, Goldwell and Matrix, as well as product knowledge courses from Framesi, Goldwell, Aveda, Tigi, Matrix and Brocato. In addition, she has taken nail, body wrapping, aromatherapy and facial courses, including glycolic peels. She has also completed advanced training in Bio Ionic and CHI Transformation (Japanese Straightening Systems).

Susanne's specialties are foiling, color, perming, haircuts, facial waxing and permanent hair straightening.

Susanne's hours are 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Master Stylist, Sue Cernghino received her master cosmetology license in 1979 in Key Port, New Jersey. She eventually moved to Fort Lauderdale, where she built a large clientele at the Paradise Salon and Spa before finally settling in Melbourne and joining the elite Foils styling team in 1999.

"Sue has played a key role in the success of Foils Salon & Spa," explained Salon Owner Sandie Phelps DeConda. "She is kind, friendly, a great listener, and an extremely talented stylist."

Sue has been cultivating new looks for her clients for over 20 years. She is continually attending advanced training classes, and it has really paid off, as she is in the top 10% of hairstylists in the nation. Her specialty is fine weave natural foiling, and she excels in the art of coloring, foiling and advaced cutting.

Sue has studied with a number of fine hairstyling artists, including Wayne Grunde, Pivot Point International, and Paul Mitchell. She she has been involved in both platform work and competition. She continues to build her knowledge by attending the latest color and styling classes from companies such as Aveda, Rusk, Goldwell, Framesi, Uans and Wella.

"The power of transformation is endless in the art of hair color and cutting and I think that's why I like doing hair. I like taking someone that doesn't recognize their own potential and working with them to create a look that elevates them to the next level. It's very satisfying," Sue explains.

Please book your appointment in advance, as Sue is always very busy. She is available Tuesdays from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Fridays from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Sami Metcalf came to Melbourne from Minneapolis where she was born, raised, and lived until 2004. She studied at the Aveda Institute from 1989-1990. Upon graduation she joined the acclaimed and highly successful JUUT SalonSpa Team. She worked as a licensed manager for JUUT for 14 years before relocating to Florida.

Sami's experience with JUUT SalonSpa gave her vitality in her career, an unparalled technical background and a tremendous desire to pamper and rejuvenate her clients.

Sami's specialties include Highlighting and Lowlighting, Full Head Color, Haircuts and Styles for Men and Women (which include a head, neck, and shoulder message from her Aveda Training) and Formal Styling for all occasions. She loves creating new looks and updating styles, in the clients comfort zone.

In 2006, Sami attended the Vidal Sassoon Academy in Miami Beach. Being educated at Vidal Sassoon is an exciting career milestone which she has incorporated into daily salon life.

Sami works Tuesday through Saturday, alternating Saturdays off. She starts each day at 10:00 am and her late nights are Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Michelle Meyer was born in the US, raised in Spain, and moved to Florida at the age of nine. She speaks fluent Spanish as well as English.

Michelle started out as a salon assistant at Foils when she began working at the salon in 2001. She is now a master hairstylist, specializing in color, foiling, cutting and styling. She is also an incredible makeup artist.

Michelle's advanced training includes Wella Advanced Cut and Color, Paul Mitchell Advanced Cut and Color, and Pivot Point Advanced Cutting. She also completed courses at Vidal Sassoon in Miami.

"I enjoy making someone feel great about their look, reflecting from the inside out," commented Michelle.

Michelle works Tuesdays through Saturdays.

Robin Anderson is Vidal Sassoon trained Master Stylist who has been in the industry for 14 years.

Robin has helped many clients enhance their appearance bringing out the best in each one. She specializes in color, foiling, trend cutting, and hair extensions. Over the years Robin has regularly attended many hair expos with the top stylists and often frequents seminars to keep up with the latest trends. Her clients know they can count on her for a great style and a few laughs as well.

She works Tuesdays through Saturdays.

Sherry Panalinan is from Columbus, Georgia and has been a hairstylist for 18 years. She has been working for Foils since 2003.

Sherry is a former educator for Paul Mitchell. She taught formal styling, advanced coloring, advanced hair cutting, perming and relaxing. She is certified in CHI transformation (permanent hair straightening). Her advanced training includes Redken Trend Cutting, Wella Trend Color and Cutting, and Pivot Point Color and Cutting. She also completed courses at Vidal Sassoon in Miami.

What Sherry loves about her job is transforming a client inside and out and giving them the tools they need to duplicate their new looks at home. "This gives people confidence. I love making my clients feel special," says Sherry.

Sherry works Tuesdays through Saturdays.

Master Stylist, Jennifer Eller is an experienced stylist who has been in the industry since 1990. She has had hands-on training with L'Oreal, Tigi, Matrix, and Vidal Sassoon. She is also certified in Chi Straightening and hair extensions.

Jennifer has a "laid back" attitude which makes her clients feel right at home from the start. She is a great listener and always delivers what her clients are trying to acheive.

Jennifer works Tuesdays through Saturdays.
